Abstract

The New Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have modified the current scenaries for the commercialization of tourism products on a global scale, becoming an essential route in the short, medium and long-term development of emerging tourist regions, as well as destinations highly demanded. These technologies are a catalyst for tourist flows, as they enhance the cultural values ​​and attributes of any offer or product in the international tourism market. This work delves into holistic and specific aspects of the advancement of ICTs, as well as the importance and impact for tourism from conceptual and practical perspectives on their application. Similarly, research converges in universes of science, technology and information society, factors that help to understand from triangulation method , the contribution of ICT to the improvement and evolution of tourism through the use of eTourism "or" online tourism " in the different systems and processes of the tourism industry.
