Analysis of the impact of transformational leadership on the management of sustainable development projects of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Tomebamba-Azuay Parish.

Introduction: Transformational leadership has emerged as a promising approach to address the challenges of managing sustainable development projects at the local level. Objective: This research aimed to describe the influence of this leadership style on the management of projects implemented by the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Tomebamba Parish, Azuay Province, Ecuador. Methodology: Through a mixed research approach, the key factors of transformational leadership and their impact on different stages of project management, from planning to evaluation, were analyzed. Results: The findings revealed that while personalized attention and fostering a sense of belonging were valued during execution, it is necessary to strengthen the promotion of creative collaboration, critical thinking in evaluation, and the integration of environmental considerations. The evaluation of projects demonstrated a commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), but there was a need to deepen the mitigation of ecological impacts. Conclusion: In conclusion, transformational leadership positively influences the management of sustainable development projects, but it is necessary to strengthen certain dimensions to maximize its impact and contribute to achieving the SDGs in the Tomebamba Parish and similar territories.

Risk assessment in fuel backpass management. A systematic literature review

Introduction. Fuel backloading is a daily activity in most countries Despite the fact that internationally operations are standardized by protocols for the realization of the same, the occurrence of risks still continues to be reported. Objective. The objective of knowing the most efficient quantitative methods for risk management, to identify the risks occurring most frequently during fuel management at global level, for which it is necessary to know the protocols employed for risk identification during management of fuel and assess the impact of risks occurring during fuel backpass management and the importance of compliance with international regulation to mitigate the same. Methodology. A systematic review is conducted using the PRISMA methodology. Based on the search was conducted in digital journals through databases such as Scopus, Scielo, Latindex, Google scholar and Redalyc of articles on risk evaluation in fuel backwash management through the PICO strategy. Results. Out of 85 reviewed articles relating to risk assessment in fuel management 24 were selected, from which they address the risks occurring during fuel transfer, the protocols for their identification and the economic and environmental impacts

Impact of social networks on market research for cooperative projects in San Fernando Ecuador

Introduction. In the technological and digital age, social networks have become key tools for market research, transforming the way organizations understand and connect with their audiences. Objective. To analyze the use of social networks and their application in cooperative projects in the canton of San Fernando to study the target market. Methodology. Qualitative research was conducted using structured interviews with heads of agencies and technical communication team of the savings and credit cooperatives Jardin Azuayo, La Merced and Señor de Girón. Results. Social networks are essential for cooperatives in San Fernando, with Facebook and Instagram being the most effective platforms for disseminating projects, due to their scope and ability to connect with various segments of the population. Savings and credit cooperatives use attractive visual content such as art, images and videos to interact with their partners. In terms of cooperative projects, the most accepted include savings loans and micro-credit, especially in the agricultural and livestock sectors. Conclusion. The study highlights the importance of social networks in the promotion of cooperative projects in San Fernando. These platforms not only improve the operational efficiency of cooperatives, but also strengthen the connection with the community. Design thinking for business model innovation in dental offices in the city of Cuenca

Introduction: Design Thinking, originated at IDEO and Stanford, combines analytical and intuitive thinking to solve complex problems. This study in Cuenca aims to design innovative solutions to improve the patient experience in dental offices. Objectives: To propose the Design Thinking approach to innovate business models in dental offices in Cuenca, improving patient experience. Additionally, this study aims to analyze current processes and business models in dental offices, identifying areas for improvement through Design Thinking. Methodology: Design Thinking is structured into five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Evaluate. Structured surveys will be used to collect quantitative data from dentists in Cuenca. The sample will include 60 dentists with active practices in the urban area of Azuay, specializing in pediatric dentistry. Results: The goal of developing Design Thinking within dental offices in the city of Cuenca is to foster innovation and improve the patient experience through a human-centered approach, identifying and solving key problems in daily management, optimizing processes, and adopting new technologies to offer more efficient and satisfactory services. To obtain results, frequency tables, binomial contrast, and descriptive tables will be evaluated among the surveys conducted on the described sample. Variables such as costs, user experience, and technology were studied; the relationship reflected that dentists seek welcoming places with comfortable interior designs for their patients. Additionally, they agree on adopting new technologies that benefit the patient and are willing to use transparent strategies to communicate costs, highlighting the influence of experience in the management and improvement of the experience. Conclusions: The study applies Design Thinking in dental offices in Cuenca, revealing differences in the measures adopted according to the experience of the dentists. The study fulfills its purpose of fostering innovation in business models, improving patient experience, and differentiating in the market.

Management model for milk collection centers immersed in the EPS of the Cañar canton

The Popular and Solidarity Economy has emerged as a vital force in the Cañar Canton, where various organizations have united to form enterprises that address their collective needs. These enterprises, mostly managed by local boards, are spread throughout the Canton, with cattle raising for dairy production being prominent in the highland areas. However, the lack of a management model for milk collection and cooling centers has left these organizations facing challenges in traceability and operational efficiency. Objective: The main objective of this research is to design a participatory and business-oriented management model specifically aimed at the milk collection and cooling centers operating within the framework of the Popular and Solidarity Economy in the Cañar Canton. The aim is to provide these organizations with the necessary tools to improve their internal management, increase their competitiveness, and offer high-quality dairy products to society. Methodology: To achieve this objective, a comprehensive study will be conducted, including qualitative and quantitative analyses. Surveys will be carried out among the members of the organizations. Additionally, a comparative study with similar organizations in other regions will be conducted to identify best practices. With this data, a participatory management model will be developed, tailored to the specific needs and realities of the Popular and Solidarity Economy organizations in the Cañar Canton. Conclusions: The research has demonstrated the urgent need to implement a participatory and business-oriented management model in the milk collection and cooling centers in the Cañar Canton. This model will not only improve the operational efficiency of these organizations but also promote traceability and the quality of the dairy products offered to society. By strengthening internal management, these organizations will be able to compete more effectively in the market and contribute to the sustainable economic development of the region.
