PowToon as a teaching tool: An experience with basic general education teachers

Abstract
Current education demands an innovative change that implies the constant use of technology both in the classroom and outside of it. The introduction of ICT makes it possible to convert conventional teaching into a dynamic and motivating class, in turn, the student arouses interest and curiosity to acquire new knowledge; in such a way, that, for educators, the use of technology plays an important role in the teaching process. It should be noted that educational videos could be an applicable didactic strategy in the teaching and feedback process. In the case of the PowToon tool, it works online and requires a device such as; Tablet, laptop, desktop or smartphone. In this scenario, this article seeks to inquire about knowledge and in turn propose the use of educational videos created with the PowToon application or software.
