Abstract

Introduction. In all surgical acts, providing a correct anesthetic plan is crucial since adequate analgesia, pre-anesthesia, induction, and anesthetic maintenance must be maintained, based on the requirements of each patient to be operated on, considering that the anesthetic plan is the essential part in surgeries. Objective To compare the recovery times in three anesthetic induction plans in canine females undergoing ovarian hysterectomy, its importance is relevant, establishing an adequate anesthetic plan gives us greater safety and efficacy in patients undergoing surgery, Methodology. An experimental quantitative positivist analysis was used, a descriptive statistic was also conducted, using tables and figures to compare the anesthetic planes, in addition to using the ANOVA model, a 95% Tukey test to make comparisons two by two and see which is the best anesthetic plan in terms of recovery time from anesthetic induction. Results. The data of thirty young female canines were taken from the Espinoza-Vet Veterinary Office, the same ones that underwent surgery (OVH) for the evaluation of the anesthetic planes. An anesthetic plan was applied to each experimental group (10 canines each group). The working groups (experimental units) were established in a completely randomized manner. Conclusion. It was concluded that all the drugs used were administered intravenously, each drug individually and consecutively; It was found that the recovery time when making the comparison between groups is statistically significant (p<0.05). In this way, there is an effect of the anesthetic plane on the post-surgical recovery time, that is, the values of the recovery time are different between the plans, therefore, the recovery time is different in all the groups.
